Remove a required path for sending data out
Completing recognition on the device reduces the exposure created by transmission and remote processing. We care about the result, and about where the voice is processed.

Brand and R&D approach
PeithoMe is built around an independently developed speech recognition system, bringing offline operation and adaptation to individual pronunciation into one research direction.
We care about more than producing a transcript. We want the words to come closer to what the speaker intended to express.
The security value and engineering demands of offline recognition
Voice data can contain names, work details, private conversations, and information you may not want a remote service to process.
PeithoMe keeps core recognition on the device. Your original audio does not have to be sent to the cloud before it can become text.
Completing recognition on the device reduces the exposure created by transmission and remote processing. We care about the result, and about where the voice is processed.
When core recognition is not handed to a remote server, the device must do the real computation. Delivering recognition quality, responsive performance, and sustained stability within limited compute, memory, and power is a central offline engineering challenge.
Your voice
Everyone has their own pronunciation, pace, and speaking habits.
Through one initial conversation, PeithoMe begins to learn the characteristics of your voice, so later recognition can start from that individual profile.
Personalization should not mean asking you to make the same corrections again and again.
Compared with general transcription
Names that sound alike are not always the names you meant. A fluent transcript can still omit the single “not” that changes everything.
PeithoMe focuses on the distance between a recognition result and the speaker’s actual meaning—the corrections you still have to make by hand.
The baseline is general transcription without an individual voice profile. This comparison describes the problem we are addressing; it is not a performance benchmark.
| Area | General transcription starting point | What PeithoMe emphasizes |
|---|---|---|
| Individual pronunciation | Apply the same general capability to every recording | Learn the individual voice through an initial conversation |
| Mixed languages and proper nouns | Produce a plausible transcription | Preserve original terms, names, and familiar spellings |
| Recognition result | Check whether the text is correct and complete | Reduce repeated corrections before the text is usable |
| Critical details | Evaluate the transcript as a whole | Pay added attention to names, numbers, and negation |
Long-term vision
Understanding between people comes from more than words.
A familiar voice, shared context, and accumulated rapport allow even a few short words to carry a complete meaning.
PeithoMe begins with faithful speech recognition and aims to move closer to that kind of understanding—preserving what matters in a voice and making room to confirm what remains uncertain.
